Query 4

Does one’s Wudu break if one talks after performing Wudu? In addition, is one’s Wudu still valid if one talks whilst performing Wudu?

The Verdict

No (The Wudu does not break), but one should abstain from talking whilst performing Wudu. It is Mustahab (desirable) not to talk of worldly things after Wudu (and before Salaah). When performing Wudu, recite the prescribed Duas and after Wudu engross yourself in performing your Tahiyatul Wudu. واللہ تعالیٰ اعلم
