Ruling on Delaying Sajdah al Tilawat During Prayer?

Question:

While performing Salah and one recites a Verse of Sajdah, should he make Sajdah immediately or can he delay it?

Answer:

The Sajdah that becomes Wajib in Salah should be performed immediately. If it is delayed more than three verses, then it is a sin. The same applies to a Sajdah of Tilāwat that becomes Wajib outside Salah, if there are no valid reason to delay. Delaying it can cause forgetfulness and not execute the Sajdah. Delay causes adversities, therefore the Ulama ruled that delay of Sajdah Tilāwat outside Salah is Makruh Tanzihi (lesser makruh), but it is permissible.
