Curbing Anger - Hadith 16
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و سلم أَوْصِنِي. قَالَ: لَا تَغْضَبْ، فَرَدَّدَ مِرَارًا، قَالَ: لَا تَغْضَبْ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah radiyAllāhu Anhu that a man said to RasūlAllāh ﷺ: “Give me counsel.”
He replied: “Do not be angry”.
The man kept asking [the same question] a number of times and RasūlAllāh ﷺ said:
“Do not be angry”.
