Clarity And Conviction - Hadith 11
عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ سِبْطِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم وَرَيْحَانَتِهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ حَفِظْت مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم دَعْ مَا يُرِيبُك إلَى مَا لَا يُرِيبُك. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، وَالنَّسَائِيّ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Narrated by Abū Muĥammad Ĥasan ibn Álī ibn Abī Ţālib radiyAllāhu Anhu the [maternal] grandson of RasūlAllāh ﷺ and his perfume, and he said:
I have preserved [or memorised] from [the ĥadīth of] RasūlAllāh ﷺ: Forsake that which is doubtful in favour of that which does not make you uneasy.
Reported by Tirmidhī and Nasā’īy. Tirmidhī graded this ĥadīth Fair and Sound (Ĥasan-Şaĥīĥ).[1]
