Being Good To Neighbours - Hadith 15

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ: مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاَللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاَللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاَللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ ، وَمُسْلِمٌ

Narrated by Abū Hurayrah radiyAllāhu Anhu, who said: RasūlAllāh said:

Whoever has believed in Allāh and in the Last Day [of Judgement], then let him speak right or keep quiet. Whoever has believed in Allāh and in the Last Day, then let him honour [and be kind to] his neighbour. Whoever has believed in Allāh and in the Last Day, then let him be gracious with his guest and honour him.

Narrated by Bukhārī and Muslim. [1]
